About

Assist the kobolds as they search the ocean for fish with the help of a magic orb that uses gold. As you catch fish, they become more valuable but catch too many of the same kind and they will go extinct. You will have to manage the fish and your gold so that you can keep fishing. If the orb runs out of power, or you run out of fish it's the end of the fishing trip.

Use the mouse to direct the boat.

Stop to catch fish.

Have fun.

Updates:

1/31/2023 - After Jam update time!

• AI mode!  Now you can just watch the kobolds doing their best to fish, without any input needed.  Some users loved the sounds and just wanted them to be background noise, so here we go!
• Minor fixes to the screens for resolutions of devices, should fix various bugs with things not lining up or looking weird.  Not sure what this will do to be honest, will edit after we test.

1/16/2023

• Checked a box in itch.io publish settings to let the game be full screened.  The title and game over will look a little odd, but the fishing part itself works full screen just fine.

We are aware of the following display bugs.  We will attempt to fix these after the jam voting timer is over.  They just look a bit odd; the game is fully playable.

• Title and game over screen do not fill the entire screen.
• Yip yap sprites on the game over do not match with kobold graphics if the game is full screen.

Last, please note that many users have actually had good luck playing this on phones or tablets. 

However, since we had no time to test/design for that platform during the jam, we have opted to keep the itch.io device compatibility warning up.  

Chances are good that you can just select "run game anyway" on a modern mobile device, and the game will still play fine.
